Romania Part 3: The Stadium

During debrief in Guatemala the Lord gave me sight into the spiritual realm and showed me wonders and mysteries beyond belief. One day I saw a vision of myself standing in a clearing on a mountain next to Jesus talking with Him (in intercessory prayer). I was vaguely aware of others standing next to me also talking with Jesus but I was not looking at them, I was looking out at the view. It was a range of mountains across from me and in between the mountain I stood on and the mountains I saw was a valley with towns and villages bustling with life within it. On the mountain across from me I saw a city about halfway up and in this city I saw a church, it was a prominent part of the vision. Above it I saw a cloud of Holy Spirit revival power. It looked like what I imagine a nuclear energy source would look like. It was vibrant orange like the sun and it was building and growing in size and power in the sky until quite suddenly a bolt of lightning from the cloud struck the church directly and all the power was draining from the sky as it poured out and filled the church first, then the city and surrounding villages after. It was like a mushroom cloud from an explosion spreading out, and I felt the ripple of power hit me from across the valley like a wave of Holy Spirit fire. I told my team and my Squad Leader asked me if I saw what the houses or buildings in the towns and villages looked like and I saw an image of a very specific house.

When I got to Craiova we were doing our morning time of intercession when the Pastor asked me directly if I was an intercesor and asked me to pray for a specific event. He shared about an evangelistic event he hopes to see in 2025, one that would be held at the same stadium that the international Wiccan conference was held a few years back. As I was getting ready to pray, Isaiah 43:18-19 repeated in my mind so I flipped to the passage and prayed that passage over the event. Before I’d even finished praying the pastor stopped me to share that this scripture was the foundation of their church plant and as a leadership team they’d studied this passage again that very morning and prayed it over the event the same way God was leading me to! Of course, right? ‘Cause God be God-ing 🤷🏽‍♀️.

We then went and did our first prayer walk around the stadium and felt the heavy presence of witchcraft and spiritual darkness. This was when the City On Fire vision came back to my mind. A few of us were called to do a Joshua march around the stadium, walking 7 laps (3.5miles) for 7 days straight. On our first lap of our first day I prayed for confirmation of the vision to see if the Lord showed me Craiova way back in Guatemala. As I marched full of doubt of this possibility and asked Him, He said “Look up.” When I lifted my eyes I saw the exact house that I saw in Guatemala right next to the stadium, even from the same angle that I saw it in my mind as if God knew I’d be doubting right then and there and knew I’d need that confirmation! The city I saw WAS Craiova, the cloud represents revival and the Holy Spirit filling the local Church (not just Hope Church but all of the local churches together in unity). The mountains indicate something that will happen in the future and the valley represents the work that needs to be done in the hearts of the people and in prayer (specifically referencing all those intercessors) before the revival can happen.

For me personally, this march was not just a means of seeing some mighty moves of God (because truly, if I were to write all of the testimonies and miracles we witnessed at The Stadium I could probably write a whole book!). This march was a means of connecting with Him and with others. It was, for the first time on the Race, a place where I felt like I truly belonged. A community to walk with, both physically and spiritually. And a place to connect deeply with my Father and learn to trust His voice because He is speaking, and He speaks through me too.

I've got some quick praise updates!!

• My sleep has been steadily improving! WOOO!! I'm noticing myself returning more and more to my normal capacity and functioning much easier day by day. Not only that but from pressing into God during the recent season of sleeplessness I grew a lot and am now seeing the fruit!! He is so good!!!

• I've made it to 99% funding with only $151 remaining to raise!! LET'S GOOO!!! Not only that but God has provided abundantly for my personal spending as well! 🥹

• God has been answering my prayers for more variety, spontaneity, and adventure! And through the gifts of friends and family, I've been able to go on adventures with my team and the friends we've made here during ministry days!! Some recent adventures: hiking (lots of hiking 😁), seeing Cappadocia from a hot air balloon, visiting some historic cave churches, exploring an underground city used by the persecuted Church, and of course the local hair museum 🤮 (fun fact: this museum was ranked #5 on CNN's list of the world's weirdest museums.)
